Being Sustainable
At the Rumblie we are committed to being as sustainable as possible. We joined the Green Tourism Business Scheme back in 2005 and were Gold at our first attempt. We were also the first B&B in the Cairngorms National Park to reach that grading in the scheme. We do not rest on previous acolades and have continued to grow and develop our sustainable practices. Under Green Toursim we were awarded a “Highly Commended” in the 2012 National awards and in 2014 we came top by Winning the “Gold Star” in the National Awards.
Being sustainable to us is about considering everything you do and trying to reduce its carbon impact at all levels. This page will I hope provide an insight into how we have done this by presenting a series of pdf examples in the form of mini case studies of specific activities we do or have done to help the environment.
